Jose is a life long resident of Maryland where he has gained significant experience in sales, financing and marketing. In his spare time Jose enjoys attending cultural activities of the Hispanic Community as well as partaking in community service projects. Jose is a native speaker of Spanish and looks forward to servicing clients desiring such language services. |

| Shawn grew up in Albany, NY, but has called Washington, DC, his home since 1993. He is a member of both the District of Columbia and the Maryland Bars and has been licensed as a real estate agent in the District of Columbia since 1998. Shawn graduated as valedictorian of his class at Christian Brothers Academy in 1989, earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 1993 and received his Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School in 2002. Prior to joining Universal Title in 2005, Shawn clerked for the Honorable Melvin R. Wright, Associate Judge for the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and worked as a real estate attorney concentrating on settlements and real property litigation. He currently focuses his practice on assisting clients with the creation and conversion of condominium projects in DC and the surrounding metropolitan area and residential and commercial transactions. |

Jeff is a Settlement Officer in the Dupont Circle, Washington, DC office. Prior to joining Universal Settlements, Jeff held the position of Banking Center Manager with Bank of America in Washington, DC. Jeff's knowledge of this city combined with his banking experience allow him to provide the highest levels of customer service to his clients. It is his experience and performance with Universal Settlements builder clients as well as his enthusiasm for all facets of the real estate and title industries that has led Universal Settlements, to choose Jeff as a leader in our efforts to develop opportunities for expanding our market presence in Washington, DC. Born and raised in Washington, DC, Jeff is an active participant in the Congress Heights neighborhood in which he resides. He is a graduate of Archbishop John Carroll High School and received his undergraduate degree in Organizational Communication (B.A.) from the University of North Carolina - Charlotte in 2002. |

| Marty is a principal with the law firm of Ridgway, Griffin, Kestner, Smyth, Stanton & Nalls. He served as the managing attorney of the Greater Silver Spring office and as Regional Vice President for Universal Title's Eastern Region. A lifetime resident of Montgomery County, he graduated from Gonzaga College High School and then obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Fordham University in 1992. Marty had a successful career as a mortgage loan originator while attending law school. In 1998, he earned his law degree from American University and soon after began working with Universal Title. His knowledge of real property and contract law along with his lending experience gives Marty a unique perspective on the settlement process. Marty specializes in residential real estate settlements and the resolution of residential contract issues. Recently, Marty moved into the District of Columbia to manage Universal Settlements’ Dupont Circle office. He is a member of the Maryland State and District of Columbia Bar Associations. Marty is a very popular instructor in the Metropolitan Washington area, well-known for teaching interesting, relevant and animated real estate classes through the Universal School of Real Estate. |
